Description

A delicious and creamy smoothie made with ripe banana, strawberries, and cottage cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup ripe banana (frozen, 1/2 banana)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (full-fat)
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or unsweetened almond milk, oat milk, cashew milk, soy milk)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • honey (maple syrup or agave nectar, if omitting the banana, optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the milk first, then the rest of the ingredients: frozen banana, frozen strawberries, cottage cheese, and protein powder, if desired.
  2. Add in any other add-ins at this time as well.
  3. Blend in a blender until smooth and has a creamy texture.
  4. Taste the smoothie before serving and adjust the sweetness and texture to your preference.
  5. Serve in a smoothie glass or make a smoothie bowl.
