Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a donut pan by greasing it lightly or using cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, protein powder, granulated sweetener, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries, being cautious not to crush them.
- Carefully spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
