Delicious grilled skewers made with smoked sausage, fresh bell peppers, and pineapple, brushed with a tasty maple glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked sausage (kielbasa or chicken)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup bell peppers (red and yellow), chopped
- 8 wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using; otherwise, wash metal skewers.
- Cut the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces and chop the bell peppers into squares.
- Thread the sausage, bell peppers, and pineapple onto the skewers, alternating ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup with a dash of soy sauce and minced garlic to create the glaze.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
- Brush assembled skewers with the glaze and grill for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until caramelized.
- Serve hot on a platter with any remaining glaze drizzled on top.

- For best results, use fresh ingredients.
- Adjust the glaze with more soy sauce for a stronger flavor.
