Description
A quick and delicious spicy garlic butter shrimp recipe.
Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided (½ stick))
- 1 pound raw shrimp (cleaned, peeled, and deveined)
- to taste Kosher salt
- to taste freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon chili pepper paste (or red pepper paste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet set over medium-high heat.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the shrimp into the skillet and add in the garlic paste and chili pepper paste. Stir to combine. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the lemon juice and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, stirring to fully combine.
- Sprinkle with dried herbs and serve.
Notes
- Adjust crushed red pepper flakes to your heat preference.
- Fresh herbs can be substituted for dried if available.
