This delicious slow-cooked beef chuck roast is perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 3–4 pounds beef chuck roast
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 units onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- to taste Salt and pepper
- optional Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the onions and mince the garlic to create a flavorful aromatic base.
- Optional: Sear the beef chuck roast in a hot pan until browned on all sides.
- Place the roast into the crock pot. Add the sliced onions, minced garlic, French onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4 hours. The longer it cooks, the better the flavor.
- Once done, shred the meat in the crock pot with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh thyme if desired.
