Description
These chocolate brownies made with Greek yogurt are rich and fudgy, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain)
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and salt, mixing until fully combined. Don’t worry about a few lumps; a smooth batter isn’t necessary.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use plain Greek yogurt for the best results.
- Sift cocoa powder for better incorporation.
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Use dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Room temperature eggs work best.
- Balance sweetness with salt.
