Description

A delicious and easy appetizer, these Spinach Artichoke Crescent Rolls are perfect for parties or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, spinach, chopped artichokes, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  5. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the spinach-artichoke filling onto the wider end of each dough triangle.
  6. Gently roll up each triangle from the wide end to the pointed tip, enclosing the filling. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with the melted butter. Sprinkle with the extra tablespoon of Parmesan cheese and the dried parsley.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and a deep golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • These rolls are best served warm right out of the oven.
  • Can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
