Instructions

- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, followed by orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined to avoid overmixing.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
