Description

A classic green bean casserole made with cream of mushroom soup and topped with crispy fried onions.


Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 5 (14 oz) cans green beans, drained
  • 23 cups French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a 13×9" baking dish, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, and green beans.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Top with the fried onions and bake an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add more French fried onions on top before the final bake.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
