Description

Delicious and easy to make cinnamon waffle crescent rolls, perfect for a sweet breakfast or snack!


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat a waffle iron.
  2. Melt butter and mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and press 2 triangles together to form a rectangle.
  4. Brush with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle each piece of crescent dough with about a tablespoon of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Fold each rectangle into a square. Brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Flip and brush the other side with butter and sprinkle with more of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Cook in a hot waffle iron for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Use tongs or a fork to remove to a wire rack in a single layer.
  9. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.

  • For best results, ensure the waffle iron is well preheated before cooking the rolls.
  • These are best enjoyed warm and can be served with syrup or whipped cream.
