Description

A rich and creamy hot chocolate made easily in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, add the whole milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to ensure the chocolate melts evenly.
  4. After 2 hours, stir the hot chocolate again until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Serve directly from the slow cooker set to “warm.”
  6. Top each mug with marshmallows, whipped cream, candy canes, or your favorite garnish.
