Description
A delicious lemon garlic spaghetti dish topped with parsley and parmesan.
Ingredients

- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 500 ml heavy cream
- 3 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 3/4 cup parmesan, grated
- 300 g spaghetti
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it reaches al dente texture. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes until fragrant and golden brown.
- Once the garlic is golden, pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well to combine.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine. Let simmer for about 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Once thickened, add the cooked pasta along with half a cup of pasta water. Toss until the spaghetti is coated, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle parsley and grate Parmesan on top. Toss gently to incorporate.
- Transfer the pasta to plates, garnish with additional parsley and Parmesan, and enjoy!
Notes
- This dish is best enjoyed fresh.
- Adjust the amount of lemon and garlic to your taste.
