- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season each boneless chicken breast with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the seared chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the marinara sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned, and the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
