- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeño, minced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your countertop.
- Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash until creamy.
- Add lime juice, cilantro, red onion, and jalapeño. Mix well.
- Gradually add salt, tasting as you go to adjust seasoning.
- Serve in a bowl garnished with extra cilantro sprigs and enjoy with tortilla chips or as a topping.

- Adjust the seasoning based on your preference.
- For a spicier guacamole, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
