Description
A delicious creamy dressing made with ripe avocado, lime juice, and fresh cilantro.
Ingredients

- 1 ripe avocado
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 teaspoons lime zest
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cilantro (packed)
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon mixed Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
- Cut the avocado in half vertically.
- Now rotate the two halves in the opposite direction and separate them from each other.
- Using a paring knife, remove the seed and discard it.
- Now scoop out the avocado flesh using a large spoon and add it to the medium jar of a blender.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the jar and blend to make a smooth dressing. Scrap the sides of the jar a few times while blending.
- Add some water if the dressing is thick for your liking.
- Check for salt and pepper and add more if needed.
- The dressing is ready. Store it in a mason jar and use it as required. Make sure to shake or stir it well before using it.
Notes
- This avocado dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
- It pairs well with salads, tacos, or as a dip for vegetables.
